Important information

before and after Candela Gentle Max Pro laser hair removal treatment

Prior to the treatment, it is necessary to shave the area to be treated for at least 4 hours, but no more than 36 hours before the session. Ideally, shaving should be done the evening before the treatment. Waxing, tweezing, or epilating the hair is prohibited before and during the treatment as it aims to maintain the connection between the hair follicle and the hair shaft intact.

After the treatment, mild irritation and sensitivity may occur for a few hours, depending on the skin type. Redness, swelling, burning sensation, and tingling in the treated area are possible side effects of the procedure. These are natural and should not cause concern as long as the instructions are followed accurately.

It is necessary to avoid direct UV radiation for at least one week before the treatment. Sunbathing, the use of artificial light and self-tanning creams are prohibited for a minimum of 3 weeks after the treatment and between subsequent sessions. Additionally, during the summer months, strong sun protection is recommended to prevent hyperpigmentation.
